傍晚，雨终于停了
这时候，空旷的车库里显得特别安静

我可不想弄湿我那一身美丽的褐毛
但是雨停了，我就好散步去了

这样的夏天，我可再也不想过一次
但维多利亚州运气还不错
这个夏天大多数时候都是艳阳高照的
我见到的汽车后头都拖着游艇，那自然是去海边了
不过农场的草都给太阳烤黄了
黄得像秋天收割的季节一样鼓舞人心

这周虽然绵绵的雨嘀嗒个不停
也就是湿了土皮，好过布里斯班洪水淹城啊

曼尔顿街新搬来一户中国人
一个高个男人和一个丰满女人
他们家的花园以前可是我寻欢作乐的好地方
当然我后来高兴地发现我照旧可以我行我素
唯一让我郁闷的就是那高个男人修剪了我最喜欢的一颗树
好在那丰满女人每天放一段竖琴，这是我喜欢的

至于我家主人，一个地道的澳洲老头和澳洲老太
我可以清楚地告诉你她们每天吃什么，做什么
当然澳洲老太要是看见我坐在门口的车上
一定会把我骂下来，我早习惯了
其实我是为了吓唬那些在车顶拉屎的鸟儿
真是好心没好报
